In July 2024, we launched our enquirers service for local meetings. When people sign up to our email newsletters they are offered an opportunity to be introduced to their local meeting. An email is then sent to the enquirer and local meeting to make the introduction. The local meeting continues the conversation from there.
The service has proved to be even more popular than we expected. Since July 2024, we have introduced 253 enquirers and provided information about a Local Meeting to 386 people. Currently 311 Local Meetings have signed up to the service, but around 25% of enquirers who wish to be introduced to their local meeting are unable to make contact in this way because the meeting hasn't signed up yet.
